Bought this watch for my daughter and got them like two weeks ago. We tried two sim cards - t-mobile and ATT for phones, not wearables - and it worked with both of them.
Activated following the instructions with no issues. App for the watch is free, you just pay for the sim-card and then for mobile plan to connect.
On the days with the most active use, the watch held charge for about a day. The longest charge this watch has held was 3-4 days - daughter didn’t actively use it those days, so the charge lasted this long.
